Think about fear, fear as a tool that comes directly from Satan's tool bag.  Fear keeps us from listening; being rational.  Fear can hold us back, fear can keep us from reaching our full potential.  Fear can be selfish-- 'it's all about me'.  Fear can keep us from the doing the work God has planned us to do, and he's given us the tools to do it.
